Did you know that the University of Georgia has a nationally reknown Office of Service Learning?
Service learning combines classroom objectives with community service to create mutually beneficial partnerships between universities and their local areas.
SLQAT is the Service Learning Qualitative Assessment Tool!
University of Georgia and Minnesota have created this tool to help guide instructors to maximize service learning’s capabilities and ensure the optimum experience for their students.
The orignal version of SLQAT was extremely difficult to use. All the scores and comparisons were done manually, and this proved to be a very inefficient and messy process. We were charged with a very important task to ensure the successful future of service learning around the nation. They wanted an online version of SLQAT that would eliminate these difficulties and ensure the optimum experience for their students.
After understanding our client's needs, we worked to ensure our client was presented with an online experience that is aesthetically pleasing and is easy to navigate.
It has been a long road for us, and it is bittersweet to see it come to an end. Thanks for all the support and knowledge given to us throughout the years!
